My life was lent to me by God.
Creation is lent to me by God.
By God, I intend to enjoy both.
I think that’s what God wants.
He lent me gifts,
To fast from them would be ungrateful.
I will not fast in Lent,
Either from food or joy,

I will revel in God’s love and gifts!
